Arts & Garden Fair

June's dodgy weather didn't help the first Arts & Crafts Garden Event at Combe Trenchard, organised in conjunction with the NCCPG. We were just observers. Everywhere we went, stallholders were saying "Well, it's not as bad as yesterday." With customers pretty thin on the ground, we could only conclude that 'yesterday' had been dire! In the picture is Toby Buckland's stall, which was strong on presentation and thin on interesting stock. That was our overall impression of most stalls, compared with those at events we'd attended in the past in Wilts & Somerset. Perhaps things reflected everyone's experience of a tricky winter?
